“The Depths of Seasons”

A Premium Canvas Print of a an original colorful painting in acrylic paint on board, featuring an undulating striped green vine, using shading to create the illusion of depth, while in the background there is a rainbow of shaded abstract colors creating a distant landscape of dips and curves. The
foreground features forms that could be leaves, flowers, or abstract birds, all dancing and twisting around the vine as if in a breeze, mimicking the undulations of the vine, indicating movement, transformation, and growth. (The original assignment when I created this painting in 2000 was to create a painting in an m.c. escher like style of illusionary art).

The original painting that this print is based on is called “The Depths of Seasons,” and represents the Cycles of Seasons & Migrations, and was originally painted in Autumn of the year 2000, in Salt Lake City, Utah, while I longed for the lush greenery and beautiful foliage of my native Vermont.

The original Acrylic on Board piece was featured in the Inclusive Arts Vermont CYCLES exhibition which toured the state of Vermont in 2024, including hanging in the Vermont State House for the Month of April this year.

This piece is a premium canvas print, 8 x 12 x 0.75 inches that is ready to hang and features a protective coating on the canvas to protect the artwork. It will come shipped with a protective thick plastic sleeve and packing to ensure its safe delivery.
