Astrobridge Artistry Virtual Poetry & Musical Performance for PoemCity Montpelier

Join Ashley Anne Strobridge for a virtual celebration of Gaia, our Mother Earth, the Sunday after Earth Day. Ashley will read original poetry, share nature photography that pairs with each poem, and culminate with a performance of some of her own music and lyrics. Take a moment on Earth Day Weekend to take a breath and celebrate all mothers, including Our Own Beautiful Mother Earth! There will be time to mingle virtually before and after the performances. The Fairy Festival!
Date and Time: Saturday, July 9th, 1 PM – 4 PM
Location: The Highland Center for the Arts in Greensboro, VT, just North of Hardwick.
$12 General Admission, $10 Student, $40 Group (up to 6), $5 EBT Cardholder (But possibly Free if you want to come as my guest and help me set up and break down!)
Fairy Fest Event Details
From Highland Center for the Arts Page: “Fluff up your wings, mix your fairy dust, and flit on over to HCA for an afternoon of merriment! Learn to fly on a lyra, get lost in a fairy adventure with marionettes, enjoy live music, flutter along the fairy trail with dozens of fairy houses, and make potions, crowns, houses, and wands. Dress as a fairy and join us for this whimsical afternoon of crafts, performances, and activities for all ages, featuring NECCA and No Strings Marionette Company.”
I will have my (either Bright Orange or Bright Purple, can’t remember which color!) tent set up and will be selling my many fairy goods, and other whimsical items, from `1-4 pm! Come say hello and bring your twinkly fairy smile, I’d love to see you there!

Compositions of Truth and Nature: A PoemCity Reading by Ashley Strobridge, Astrobridge Artistry

In an Earth Day Weekend event, Ashley Anne Strobridge of Astrobridge Artistry will be reading poems inspired by the wonder of Nature and the inner world of our psyche from her as yet unpublished art and poetry book entitled: Compositions of Truth and Nature. Due to Covid and health concerns, the event has now been made virtual, which anyone can access for free via the below link, at 11 AM on Saturday the 23rd of April.
