An 8 sided accordion card, printed on pearlescent paper with a sparkly shimmer. Comes with free coordinating white envelope.
Featuring my Fairy photo in the middle fold out pages, with a Beech Tree image on the front, shot from below, with roots, as dancing legs, in the foreground, above that a skirt of dark ivy, and above that, bright green foliage. This card also features a photo of a mushroom in a misty forest, and my original poem, “Fairy Rings of Truth,” which reads as follows:
Dryad Skirts of Ivy,
and Fairy Rings of Truth
The trees will guide you through the wood,
as long as your heart has youth.
The young at heart can see them,
The Fairy Lights so dear,
They sing the songs of Nature,
if you listen, can you Hear?
They tell us not to tread so harshly,
With big black heavy boots,
Not to cut down the friendly Dryads,
Not to tear up their connected roots.
Connected to all the community,
Bringing life and love and care,
Sequestering carbon dioxide,
If we kill them, we won’t have air!
They filter our storm water,
And give us shade in summer & spring,
They beautify our neighborhoods,
If we destroy them, what will we bring?
If we keep on with our destruction,
Will the end of Earth be in store?
No, but WE will die,
And so will many more.
So the Dryads and Light Fairies,
Usher the wise into the woods,
To walk nimbly among them,
listening to all that’s good.
They tell us not to harm them
For they hold the secret of life,
And to spread the word about them,
For the true of heart will play the fife,
And lead the world to knowledge,
Bringing truth to light,
It is in Nature we find the answer,
It is in Nature that there is right.
