4b. Bifold Greeting Card: The Moon Goddess / “The Goddess of the Night” / “The Great North American Eclipse”

A 4 inches by 5.5 inches glossy greeting card in horizontal/landscape orientation. It features three of the photos I captured of the Great North American Eclipse from my balcony in Montpelier, VT on April 8th, 2024. The three photos of the eclipse are arranged in a progression from upper left to lower right, with two diamond ring effect photos in either corner, and a full glowing eclipse in the center, complete with solar flares of red light emanating from behind the moon. All of these images of the eclipse are in a deep black background.

Text on the back of the card includes the following original poem:

“The Goddess of the Night”

“Where Night Meets Day, & Darkness Envelopes the Sun.
An obscure embrace, extinguishing Light, if only for a moment,
as the Moon Goddess subdues The Mighty Sun.
